About Brian Gee

Brian Gee is a portrait photographer and brand & marketing consultant with a knack for connecting brands with people. He's also a Chicago transplant, having imbibed a childhood's worth of Los Angeles style & culture before moving to Chicago in 2007. 

North & Kedzie is a highly personal project for Brian. Always the creative outsider as a kid, Brian was a late style- and culture-bloomer. His hope is that readers and fans of North & Kedzie will join him on his journey towards taking risks and learning what it means to express oneself through style.

Founded in 2016, North & Kedzie is a Chicago-based style & culture blog with one goal: to make style & culture approachable and accessible to everyone. From the camera and mind of photographer & editor Brian Gee, North & Kedzie features photography, commentary, and tips on the best street style from around the Windy City as well as recommendations for some of Chicago's best cultural finds.

While Chicago will always be its home base, North & Kedzie is dedicated to finding great style and culture wherever it is waiting to be found.
