Why I Stopped: Natasha is a tour de force in both style and attitude. She's so filled with life, and it comes through both in how she talks and what she wears. Don't be fooled. While I may have used a couple of fierce poses, Natasha actually has one of the most contagious smiles I've ever seen. So with that caveat, let's talk about the look.
I'm going to call this Bohemian chic, and I'm obsessed with it. The long, white button-down and skinny blue jeans provide a neutral base against which Natasha can do almost anything. What she does is fantastic! The green knit cape is stunning. Look at the shapes she can create just by standing with an arm at her side! Long, draping garments are totally in this season, and this is a great way to pull one off.
The hat only adds to the bohemian feel. I'd expect to see Natasha walking down the streets of Paris where she's composing her next novel alongside her fellow ex-pats in a revival reminiscent of Midnight in Paris. The gold hoop necklace placed over the buttoned collar of the shirt adds an unexpected accent, and it's complimented by several gold rings decorating Natasha's fingers. Completed by a black tote and black boots, Natasha is saying so much about herself through this look, and I'm loving every bit of it.
Style Tip Challenge: Don't be afraid to drape (whether you're a guy or a gal!). Create a neutral base by using a simple top and pants. Then pick up an oversized, chunky knit sweater or a poncho-style cape that wraps you up in its comfy goodness. Finish it off with a couple of accessories (maybe a fabulous hat?!) and you'll have a fall look that will turn heads for all the right reasons.
